Ballytherm PIR insulation boards are an insulation material designed for use in multi-purpose applications to improve the thermal performance within a residential or commercial building. PIR insulation boards are made up of a rigid polyisocyanurate core with two layers of low emissivity composite foil bonded to each side. Ballytherm (PIR) insulation board is constructed by a constant foaming process, which offers the board A tight cell structure and bonds that facing to the foam. After the completion of the foaming process, the boards are cut to size and left to cure.

Ballytherm PIR Insulation Boards

Ballytherm Insulation is a Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with foil facing on each side. The PIR board is formed by a continuous foaming process which gives the board its tight cell structure and bonds the facing to the foam. After foaming, the boards are cut to size and left to cure.

Ballytherm is well suited for use in areas where damp can occur like basements. Ballytherm insulation boards are fire resistant and can remain at stable temperatures up to 400Âșc, a protective char will then form on the boards to slow down the spread of flames. They can be used safely behind non-flammable materials such as plasterboard which makes a well-suited product for areas where flame resistance is necessary such as between houses / flat apartments. Ballytherm board are lightweight making it easy to cut, handle and install. It provides high-performance thermal conductivity. When installed correctly the product will last for as long as the building does. Ballytherm is designed to never rot which has created a product that is mould, pest and insect free.
