Why Use IKO Enertherm?

  • Lightweight and easy to install.
  • Long Lasting.
  • Environmentally friendly.
  • Great Thermal Conductivity.
  • Moisture Resistant.
  • Multipurpose products.

The IKO brand has continued to show commitment to sustainability and continues to find and develop new ways of producing its product in a way that’s sustainable and effective to the environment.
IKO Enertherm recycles and upcycles tonnes of materials each year that would otherwise be wasted and have negative impacts on the environment. This means that CO2 emissions have been cut down as the amount of material that needs to be moved has significantly lessened resulting in less transportation. The amount of recycling from IKO continues to increase.
IKO no longer sends waste to landfills, the material is either recycled and if the product is non-recyclable it is sent to ‘refuse derived fuel’ and is then used to create greener energy.
In the past 2 years, IKO Enertherm has maintained its energy reduction level. This achieves a 7% reduction in electricity usage across the group and a 10% reduction in gas usage across the group. The reduced amount of voltage incoming to the Appley Bridge site means IKO uses less electricity, therefore, creating less electrical waste and CO2 consumption in the manufacturing process.
IKO Enertherm continues to find new ways the improve sustainability and help the environment.
