Is Recticel as good as Celotex?

It really comes down to a preference of brand. Celotex make PIR insulation boards, as do Recticel. When comparing Recticel's and Celotex's general purpose PIR boards, the thermal properties are identical. Both of these brands also offer their boards in the same thicknesses and sizes. The question is not if one brand is superior to the other as the products are near on identical. It really comes down to personal choice and loyalty to the brand. Some builders have used Celotex for years and therefore are apprehensive to change brands. Other builders may prefer using Recticel. Both brands are very popular and we sell a lot of each on our website.
