Aluminium Foil Tape
Aluminium foil tape can be used when installing foil-faced insulation boards. It can be used to seal joints between boards. This helps to reduce unwanted air movement for better performance.
On our website you will find a choice of aluminium foil tapes. These foil tapes are often paired with PIR insulation such as Celotex, Recticel and Kingspan boards.
We supply aluminium foil tape in 75mm and 100mm widths, both supplied in 45-metre rolls. The wider 100mm option provides additional coverage across joints. The 75mm tape is more suited for narrow seams.
Scrim Tape
Scrim tape is also known as drywall or plasterboard tape. It helps reinforce the joints between adjoining plasterboard sheets. This can reduce the chance of cracks appearing along the seams. Our scrim tape is made using a durable open weaver fibreglass mesh. This also features a self-adhesive backing for easy application. It is designed to be easily applied directly over plasterboard joints.
Available in 90m x 50mm rolls, our scrim tape is a practical choice for plasterers, dryliners and also anyone else working with plasterboard on a project.
Plaster & Plasterboard Adhesives
If you are planning on fixing plasterboard to a masonry or preparing a wall for decoration then it is important that the correct plaster or adhesive is used. This can make a big difference to the quality of the finished installation.
On our website, we stock plaster and adhesive products from established brands such as British Gypsum and Knauf. This includes products such as Knauf Multi-Purpose Plasterboard Adhesive and Speedline Drywall Adhesive. These products are designed for applications such as the dot and dab method, providing a secure bond between plasterboard and the supporting surface.
You can also find British Gypsum products such as Thistle Hardwall and also BG MultiFinish. The thistle hardwall is typically used an undercoat plaster where as the British Gypsum MultiFinish provides a smooth finishing coat ready for decoration once fully dried and prepared.
