How to install Siniat Fire GTEC Board

To install Siniat Fire 12.5mm GTEC Board, you will need to follow a few steps:

First, ensure that the surface where you will be installing the board is clean, dry, and free from any loose material. This will ensure that the board adheres properly to the surface.

Next, cut the board to the required size using a saw or a knife. Be sure to measure the surface carefully to avoid any mistakes.

Then, position the board against the surface and mark the position of the fixing points. This will ensure that the board is properly aligned and fixed in place.

After that, apply a thin layer of Siniat Joint Cement to the surface where the board will be fixed. This will help the board adhere to the surface.

Position the board against the surface and fix it in place using Siniat screws. Make sure that the screws are flush with the surface of the board.

Next, apply a second layer of Siniat Joint Cement to the joints between the boards, and smooth it out using a trowel. This will ensure that the joints are properly sealed and the board is level.

Allow the joint cement to dry completely before moving on to the next step. This may take several hours depending on the climate and humidity.

Sand down any rough spots or excess joint cement using sandpaper or a sanding block. This will ensure that the surface is smooth and ready for the final skim coat.

Allow the skim coat to dry completely before sanding down any rough spots or excess joint cement using sandpaper or a sanding block.

Your Siniat Fire GTEC Board is now ready for painting or wallpapering. Remember to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully for the best results.

How to correctly store Siniat Fire GTEC Board

To safely store Siniat Fire GTEC Board, you should follow these guidelines:

Store the boards indoors in a cool, dry place. Exposure to moisture or humidity can damage the boards and compromise their fire-resistant properties.

Keep the boards flat and supported. Storing them vertically or leaning them against a wall can cause them to warp or bend, making them difficult to install properly.

Avoid stacking the boards too high. Stacking them too high can cause them to become unstable and potentially fall over, causing damage or injury.

Store the boards away from any heat sources or open flames. The boards are fire-resistant, but exposure to high temperatures or flames can still cause them to deform or become damaged.

Keep the boards away from any sharp or pointed objects. Scratches or punctures can compromise the fire-resistant properties of the boards.

Store the boards in their original packaging until ready to use. The packaging is designed to protect the boards from damage during transport and storage.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your Siniat Fire GTEC Board remains in good condition and ready to use when needed.
