Recticel Insulation 50mm

50mm Recticel GP Insulation Board is a high-quality insulation material made of a polyisocyanurate (PIR) core. These general-purpose insulation boards are light and as a result, easy to cut, handle, and install. 50mm Recticel insulation boards are reliable and durable because of their great lifespan that does not degrade with time.

Recticel GP PIR board Specifications

50mm Recticel Insulation boards hold great thermal qualities and as a result will keep heat inside the property. In addition, this will reduce energy bills up to 30%. This means cooler summers and hotter winters because of the level internal climate and most importantly, less heat leaving the building will have positive effects on climate change.

The foil backing of the boards work by reflecting rising heat back into the building and in conclusion, heating the building from the top down.

Can I recess cables into 50mm Recticel boards?

Answer:

No you should not recess any cables into the insulation board. The easiest way round this is to split the thicknesses and lay the cables in-between them. We advise you to check this with a qualified electrician before carrying out any works.
