Kingspan K103 150mm
Kingspan K103 150mm – a high-quality insulation material made of premium performance rigid phenolic insulation. In addition, the boards have glass tissue facings bonded to each side. The boards are lightweight. As a result, they’re easy to cut, handle and install. 150mm K103 is reliable and durable because of its great lifespan that does not degrade with time.
150mm K103 Kingspan insulation is a popular choice of thickness because this product thickness is great for use in floor applications.
150mm K103 key features:
- 2400mm x 1200mm
- Thermal conductivity 0.019W/mK
- Water repellent – therefore will not absorb water
- No maintenance required
- Compressive strength 120kPa at 10% compression
150mm Kingspan K103 Board Application
K103 150mm is suitable for multiple building types. For example, residential and commercial buildings including new builds and refurbs. Install K103 in floor applications – see details below.
- Beam and dense block ground floors – Insulation below the floor screed.
- Suspended timber ground floors – Insulation between joists.
- Solid concrete ground-based floors – Insulation below the floor slab.
- Solid concrete ground-based floors – Insulation below the floor screed.
- Cut K103 150mm with a sharp knife or fine-toothed saw. Ensure accurate trimming to achieve close-butting joints and continuity of insulation.
- Consult a professional before insulating your property.
K103 Specifications
150mm Kingspan K103 boards hold great thermal qualities and will keep heat inside the property. In addition, this will reduce energy bills by up to 30%.
