Kingspan Performance
The installation of 90mm Kingspan PIR Board will provide effective insulation inside a building. This reduces the need for energy usage to heat a home as the insulation will help a building retain heat. Lower energy usage means occupants will spend less on their energy bills as well as reduce their carbon footprint.
A well-insulated home will improve the energy efficiency rating of a home, which makes it better for the environment and also more attractive on the market. Kingspan 90mm TP10 has excellent thermal qualities, which makes it the perfect choice for pitched roofs as well as for general use.
Kingspan 90mm Thermapitch Insulation Board is a high-performance product that provides a great standard of insulation. This makes it a great choice for building professionals as well as DIYers. TP10 can be purchased in a variety of thicknesses, which ranges from 20mm up to 150mm.
90mm Kingspan Applications
Kingspan Thermpitch TP10 is designed for use in tiled and slated pitch roof applications, however, it can be used for general use. TP10 is perfect to insulate a warm loft. According to the energy savings trust, nearly 25% of all heat in a building escapes through the roof of an uninsulated home. This number can be dramatically reduced with the correct installation of Kingspan PIR Insulation Board.
When it comes to installing Kingspan TP10, the insulation board tends to be installed at the rafter level. It is suitable for use in both ventilated and unventilated pitched roofs. This is due to the air movement having no impact on how efficient the board is. The foil facing, which is attached to both sides helps prevent the build-up of excessive moisture, which can prevent water damage and therefore improve the longevity of the building itself.
